Maharaj Balwant Singh P.G. College, Gangapur, Varanasi was established in 1972 by the Maharaja of Banaras Dr. Vibhuti Narain Singh in the memory of the founder of the Banaras State Maharaj Balwant Singh to cater the need of higher education of the poor rural masses. The college is managed by the Maharaj Kashiraj Dharmkarya Nidhi, Fort Ramnagar Varanasi and governed by the Maharaja Balwant Singh Shiksha Samiti, college is involved in nurturing excellence, the creation of talent, value based and resource pool that would expand the vision of business and management and give an opportunity to individual to fully realized his potential, a unique feature of college philosophy is not only interaction with industry executive in this field of education, but also embracing knowledge in every sphere of life.
With this objective it has grown as an institute of excellence for providing congenial learning environment, that is changing in response to new technology and economy, we lay streets on self perfection and awareness, creating a learning environment in which each student-manager activated his potential, the college is housed in its own premises with well architectures to campuses over an area of nearly 40 acres of land. The campus comprises well designed lecture halls, conference hall, computer centers, play ground, library and other modern faculties to meet all academic and administrative requirements, the college enshrines within its precincts tree faculties.
